从美国滑联的消息来看，参加的国家是美国，加拿大，日本，法国，意大利于俄罗斯，很遗憾木有天朝队。。。入围的6支队伍是根据JGP, GP, 4CC, Jr World, World成绩和ISU排名来的。米国队的参赛队伍是今年的各项目的全美冠军加Adam Rippon和Gracie Gold。小仙女同学果断被换下啊，这也将是Gracie Gold第一次参加国际大赛成人组。
U.S. ENTRIES TO 2012 ISU WORLD TEAM TROPHY ANNOUNCED
(4/6/12) - U.S. Figure Skating announced today its entries for the 2012 ISU World Team Trophy, scheduled for April 19-22 in Tokyo. The U.S. team will be headlined by U.S. ice dancing champions Meryl Davis & Charlie White, who won their third consecutive World medal, silver, last week at the World Championships in Nice, France.
The team also features the other three reigning U.S. champions Ashley Wagner, Jeremy Abbott, and Caydee Denney & John Coughlin. Adam Rippon, the reigning U.S. silver medalist, and Gracie Gold, the 2012 U.S. junior champion, who will make her international senior debut, fill out the team.
World Team Trophy features the six best figure skating teams of the 2011-12 season, including Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States. Each team consists of two ladies, two men, one pair and one ice dancing couple. The scores of each team's skaters in the short programs/dance and free skates/dance will be added together and the highest point total will win.
U.S. skaters qualified based on results of the 2012 ISU World and World Junior Figure Skating Championships, the ISU Grand Prix and Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series and Final, the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships and the ISU World Rankings. Teams will compete for a total of $1 million USD in prize money.
Team USA won the inaugural World Team Trophy in 2009. This event was scheduled for last April in Japan, but was postponed following the earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. A modified version of World Team Trophy has been added to the schedule for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. |
