这套节目是99-00的NHK杯上克里姆金的自由滑,这一站男单参加的选手还有普鲁申科和本田、戈贝尔,关于这个“牧神的午后 Afternoon of a faun”,是德彪西著名的作品,Vaslav Nijinsky曾经饰演舞剧中牧神一角。意大利女单选手Kostner在2010-2011赛季也演绎了此曲。



舞剧描述的是一群仙女在夏日午后出浴,牧神的出现让她们惊慌而逃,思绪惆怅的牧神拾起了仙女留下的围巾回到石上,拥着围巾而睡。

《牧神午后前奏曲》,这首梦幻一般的交响诗《牧神午后前奏曲》是德彪西的第一部具有代表性的印象主义作品,可以认为,德彪西通过这一音诗而开创了一个新的时代,因而此曲被后人誉为"德彪西的第一颗管弦乐定时炸弹"。从这个标题可以知道,他的音乐是受他的朋友斯蒂芬·马拉美的著名诗篇《牧神午后》启发而写的。虽然这首短小的音诗以其异国情调的旋律和难以捉摸的和声使许多听众困惑不解,但是,另人感到惊奇的是,它获得了普遍的赞赏,始终是作者最脍炙人口的管弦乐杰作之一。
德彪西的世界充满了朦胧的月光、水中的倒影、无言的激情、发人深思的象征、含而不露的思想以及欲语还休的言词,他的印象派音乐正如同一时代的印象派绘画那样,用鲜艳的色彩玩着光与影的游戏。

乐曲的开始部分,简单而无伴奏的长笛所吹出的旋律,仿佛是画布上刻画得十分分明的线条,它显然是表现了诗人马拉美笔下的牧神所吹奏的洋洋曲调。牧神亲自吹奏的那懒洋洋而变化多端的旋律,很快就融入温暖的天鹅绒般的圆号与木管声中,以及一串淙淙流水般的竖琴声中。乐队的色彩纤丽而细腻,弦乐分声部奏出轻轻颤动的震音。整个音乐使人感到波光粼粼,阳光明媚,暖气袭人,微风吹拂,牧神昏昏欲睡,梦境消逝在稀薄的空气之中。

It is often said the most famous program of Ilia Klimkin, "Prelude to the afternoon of a faun" reproduces the mood of Nijinski. Then, what kind of person is Nijinski?

Nijinski was born in Kiev, 1890. Drawing attention as a talented dancer from an early age, he graduated the Royal Ballet School of St. Petersburg in 1908 and started dancing in Paris.

He took an active role as a top dancer of "Ballets Russes", which Diaghilev founded in 1911. Diaghilev was a leading producer of the time and Ballets Russes had a big impact on the subsequent ballet and music.

Nijinski, who was called a lover of Diaghilev, played the lead one after another in such as "Le Spectre de la rose", "Petrushka", and won popularity.

On May,1912, "The afternoon of a faun" that Nijinski himself choreographed was first performed, which made a great sensation in Paris.

But he was expelled from Ballets Russes in 1913, because of his marriage without Diaghilev's permission.

After that, Nijinski had shown the sign of schizophrenia from about 1918, never performed since then, roamed several sanatoriums and died in 1950, at the age of 60.

Nijinski, who arouse rejection as well as enthusiastic praise, took an active part for only about 8 years. Due to this, he was often called a legendary ballet dancer.

Nijinski was highly evaluated for his technique called "miracle jump" (Ilia's successful jumps are also high, you know) and ability of carrying complex feeling by his body.

His "The afternoon of a faun" exceeded common sense of the conventional ballet. Stern disapproval against its indecency as well as admiration were given to this sensual program,in that he expressed the faun's emotion by only gesture without any jump or difficult skill.

Ilia's "The afternoon of a faun" evokes Nijinski's atmosphere and choreography very well. Ilia doesn't express indecency, but expresses the magic atmosphere into that everyone is pulled. Even seeing these pictures shows you that. The right picture is similar to Ilia's last pose.

And you can see a small movie made to compare the choreography of two fauns at this, Ilia's official site.

Now, the most famous program Nijinski himself choreographed and performed was "The afternoon of a faun", he performed many programs such as "Scheherazade", "Le Spectre de la rose", "Petrushka" (they were choreographed by Fokin) except it.

Though the music of "Petrushka" that Nijinski performed was written by Stravinsky, you wonder whether Ilia's "Petrushka" has something to do with Nijinski, don't you?

Yeah, this is the picture of Nijinski's "Petrushka". We were surprised and found nothing to say when we first saw this picture.

This is the same pose of Ilia, at the beginning of the slow part of "Petrushka", after the triple salcow.

Though the impression is different because of the difference of music, the choreography of the slow part of Ilia's "Petrushka" looks like that of bequeathed Nijinski's "Petrushka".

Nijinski's "Petrushka" expresses the grief of marionette. Ilia expresses this greatly, doesn't he?

Exactly "the humor and pathos of the pierrot"(that Japanese sportscaster Mr.Kariya described).

Now, Ilia's programs of the new season haven't yet been declared and we don't know whether Ilia will perform the program being to do with Nijinski. But we want to express our thanks to great Nijinski for marking the start of showing us, the ages about 90 years after him, Ilia Klimkin's brilliant programs.

若要领略印象主义的音乐,不能不欣赏德彪西的成名之作《牧神的午后》
作品的结构是三部曲式和变奏原则的结合……故事的架构是牧神遇到精灵,牧神追逐精灵,牧神失去了精灵

在古希腊神话中,半人半兽的牧神是创造力、音乐、诗歌与性爱的象征,同时也是恐慌与噩梦的标志,英文的“恐慌”一词——Panic,就是源自牧神
根据这部管弦乐作品创作的同名芭蕾舞剧,是现代芭蕾的叩门之作,也是少数几部以男性为主要表现对象的芭蕾舞作品。
俄国著名舞蹈家尼津斯基,也就是文化名流迪亚吉列夫的同性情人,将该作品搬上舞台时,大胆地在结尾处揉进了手淫的动作,在当时引起轩然大波……
据说,对这部管弦乐作品过分狂热的人,都有同性恋倾向,比如尼津斯基。

牧神的午后这首曲子我强烈推荐“比切姆”1954(好像是)在EMI的录音太优秀了。

上传了一个经典的版本,伟大的指挥家比切姆爵士1957年指挥皇家爱乐乐团的版本。
FLAC无损音格式,以内嵌图像并填写了完整唱片信息,本人建议用foorbar软件播放。
