官方MySpace即时关闭。原因是通过MySpace传递给Johnny的憎恨信息，以及Johnny缺少时间管理博客。
Johnny说，MySpace的管理员是他的好朋友Lena。因为Johnny的电脑水平和时间有限，他本人只能每个月登陆察看一到两次。月底的时候Lena会把通过MySpace传输过来的信息以及纪录打印交给Johnny。结果Johnny得到的相当一部分是恶毒，憎恨和恐吓的信件。本来MySpace是离冰迷更近的一种方式，结果现在Johnny深受其伤，因此决定关闭，从现在开始所有MySpace上的消息都不再是真的。

Johnny has decided to take down his official MySpace site, effective immediately, because of problems with content submitted to Johnny through the page, as well as his limited time to personally log on to MySpace. Any profiles claiming to be Johnny are not authorized by him. He said:
"I wanted to inform everyone that there is no longer an official Johnny Weir MySpace. I really wanted a way to be closer to my fans and friends but it seems to have turned on me. I worked very hard on the site with the assistance of my good friend Lena. I am completely terrible with computers so I would personally check the site once or twice a month if I could, and Lena took care of it for the rest of the time.
At the end of each month she would send me printed letters and details from my MySpace account. There have been an alarming amount of mean spirited, hateful and threatening letters sent to me through MySpace and I decided it would be best to close the account. It is a shame that the site had to close and I wish so many people weren't cruel, but it's life.
Thank you to everyone who befriended me on MySpace especially the Johnny Weir fan groups such as Joya Group, Weird Iced French Kiss and Johnny's Korean Angels. Please be advised that there will be no more attempts from me to have a MySpace, so anything on MySpace now is fake. Thank you." |
