Robert "Robin" Cousins 1957年出手在英国的布里斯托. 他是1980年的冬奥会男子单人滑冠军和1980年欧锦赛冠军, 连续三年世锦赛奖牌获得者 (1978, 1979 & 1980) ,以及连续四年的英国全国冠军(1977, 1978, 1979 & 1980) . 美国选手Jeremy Abbott就说过他喜欢上滑冰的契机就是在2岁时看了Robin Cousins的冰上表演,才因此开始接触学习花滑的,1980年后他l转为职业选手,同时进行冰上表演并拥有了自己的冰上表演团,也曾经为BBC担任过电视解说,从2006起他开始担任ITV的真人秀节目Dancing on Ice的评委.
